During E3 there was a lot of stuff that happened. Something that stood out to not just gamers, but developers as well, Anita Sarkeesian came to E3 this year and managed to spew more nonsense than previously (if you can believe that). Not only that, she also willingly lied to her audience, potentially throwing away lots of the influence she had accrued over the past couple of years.
Here is the tweet in question where she lied:

This is one of the biggest lies she's done so far, misleading everyone who wasn't there into believing that E3, and by extension gaming culture as a whole, is a sexist paradise . This isn't the first time she's lied either, but probably the easiest one to spot. It was easily debunked by others who were actually there at E3.
Dear @femfreq@anitasarkeesian#Equality is about showing both sides of the badge. I own a plaid skirt 2 sue me! #E3pic.twitter.com/1StXgxi0x9 — Sophia Eris (@HiddenTara) June 18, 2015
As disclosure, Sophia was part of the Ship2Block20 video team at E3 for the site this year. She was there and was actually able to debunk this claim from Anita Sarkeesian pretty easily. The thing is that the poster she found "offensive" isn't even that at all. It's a video game character from Persona 4 who happens to dress like that, heck it is common for women from Japan to dress in skirts. Not that Anita would know, because last time she spoke about Japan she had this to say:
"The US bombed them back to traditional values – feminism does not exist in Japan. While I don’t like judging an entire culture… that does not excuse them.”
It is strange that the gaming, and mainstream, media take her seriously, especially after all of her claims have been thoroughly debunked or shown to be willful distortions of the facts.
So it turns out Anita lied and claimed this image was "attached" to all E3 badges when it's actually a separate thing pic.twitter.com/Il1hVS87Ut

Here is what the actual badge looks like by someone who was there explained by our Editor-In-Chief:
Anita, who also seemed to have a big issue with Fallout 4, seemed a bit hypocritical. Because in her kickstarter video she explicitly had Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas as part of her proof showing she was a gamer.
Yes she had no problem in going after the game at all during her twitter tirade:
The #Fallout4 crafting system is cool. Imagine how much cooler it could be if it wasn’t SO focused on building stuff to kill other stuff.

She shows again that she's a liar and has no clue what the series is about, as you can get through New Vegas without killing anything. If she was so supportive of the game that she even showed it during her kickstarter campaign, basically endorsing the game, why has she suddenly gone 180 on the series? Because she is a terrible critic of video games with qualms about misleading her audience.
If you're going to critique a medium, you should at least do the bare minimum of research of the actual thing you're criticizing. When I see things like this:
Where Anita shows that she doesn't know the basics of biology, the sport or even the video game itself, it is hard to take this kind of person seriously.
Stop taking this woman seriously. She does not want the best for gaming, as proven by her serious lack of knowledge about the medium and criminal ignorance of context . Stop enabling her when she dictates what people should and shouldn't have in their games.
