The highly anticipated Wii U installment of The Legend of Zelda is not coming this year as originally thought, according to a video message recorded by producer Eiji Aonuma.
According to Mr. Aonuma, the team has discovered many new things they want to do with the game since its last appearance at Geoff Keighley's The Game Awards last December. Because of this, Mr. Aonuma decided to not put the team on a schedule and instead told them to try to make the best Zelda game ever. Because of this, the team is no longer making sure the game is ready by the end of year, meaning the game is most likely delayed until 2016.
Because of this, Nintendo has also said in a press release the game will not be seen at E3 2015, since this year's showcase will be focusing on games releasing this year.
